New Paths of Opportunity

Kosciusko Community Recovery Program

The Kosciusko Community Recovery Program (KCRP) helps Kosciusko County Jail inmates on their path to recovery—supporting re-entry into community life and reducing recidivism.

KCRP collaborates with local nonprofits to coordinate a comprehensive support system for inmates through counseling, vocation training, education and other services that benefit their health. As part of this program, a dedicated resource navigator connects inmates to any services that will meet their specific needs.

Another key aspect of this program is a certified peer recovery coach program, where trained coaches act as mentors to create accountability and foster community as participants navigate personal challenges ranging from maintaining sobriety to building daily life skills.

K21 Health Foundation has a long history of investing in recovery for individuals who need help in that journey—first, with recovery homes, then with treatment services, and now, by granting into this new program, we’re supporting our local commitment to this relationally driven approach to re-entry!

The work you’re doing will empower individuals to take ownership of their lives—thank you, Kosciusko Community Recovery Program!
